The 11th annual Fish Hatchery 5k Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, November 3, at 10 A.M. in West Glenwood. The scenic course takes runners along Mitchell Creek Road above the Glenwood Fish Hatchery on paved and dirt roads, before a downhill sprint to the finish on Donegan Road. The entry fee is $10, with all proceeds going to help local animal shelters and the Pauline S. Schneegas Wildlife Foundation in Silt. Brian Badger, Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF)'s Director of Conservation and Outreach, will be giving an informative and fun presentation on cheetahs and other big cats at the Pauline S. Schneegas Wildlife Foundation in Silt.
Tours of the Wildlife Foundation are included and start at 3:15pm. Tickets are $15 per person, $10 for kids 12-18. We are limited to 50 tickets, so don't wait to reserve your spot!
